Defining the Problem
In Nigeria, many individuals and small business owners face challenges in securing loans from traditional banks due to factors such as limited credit history, cumbersome application procedures, and high interest rates. This often leaves those in need of financial support with limited alternatives. A money lending app can address these issues by simplifying the loan application process, offering tailored loan options, and providing competitive interest rates. This approach enables users to access the necessary funds more easily, helping them reach their financial objectives.
My Role
I created a user-centered, intuitive experience by simplifying loan applications and offering personalized options. Through research, prototyping, and testing, designed a clean, accessible interface that addresses user pain points like high interest rates and complex processes. Collaborating with developers, I’ll ensure seamless implementation and brand consistency.
Design Decision
Simplified application process: To address user frustration with long application processes, we designed a simple, step-by-step application process that is easy to understand and complete.
Clear information and support: To address user concerns about transparency and access to information, we included clear and concise information about eligibility requirements, repayment terms, and interest rates. We also incorporated support features, including in-app messaging and FAQs, to provide users with the help they need throughout the process.
User-friendly interface: To ensure ease of use, we designed a user-friendly interface that is intuitive and easy to navigate. The interface features a clean, modern design with clear calls-to-action and simple language.
